certificate problem with N80

I have bought a new N80 phone. installed the 9.2 fp1
Now I am trying to install helloworldbasic example with no success.
I alwayes get the certificate error, although I have used createsis to create a certificae and a key.
what should I do?

You might check whether you generated key's date and time are older than the current date and time on your phone, and also check whether untrusted applications are allowed to install.

I have already set the time on the phone to be 2 days older.
How do you enable the phone to accept untrusted applications.

In the Tools/App.Manager application.
Select options/settings, and there you can select that all applications should be installed etc.

Now I did the same with LocationLandmarksRefAppForS60 however I have received this error.
Is it something to do with the application cabapilities...?

hi,

I have created a certificate and a key from symbian signed,
however I can't get createsis or signsis to accept it ,
signsis says encyption error and createsis says bad password although I have included the password.


Anyidea??

Give it a try without the -cr option.

I am sorry I need to bring this problem again to your attention as I don't know what to do.

I have genertated the certificate/key from symbiansigned, and I am trying to sign an application with location capablity.
I use :

signsis -s -cr LmRefApp_gcce LmRefApp_gcceoutput symbiansignedcert symbiansignedkey mypassword
and tried
signsis -s LmRefApp_gcce LmRefApp_gcceoutput symbiansignedcert symbiansignedkey mypassword

and

signsis -cr LmRefApp_gcce LmRefApp_gcceoutput symbiansignedcert symbiansignedkey mypassword


everytime I get this error:

Could not verify signature with known algorithm, exiting.
invalid signature


What is going wrong here.
