The Nokia M2M Platform makes an application appear like a normal Internet application with local method calls.
On the server side, the distributed application is designed as a CORBA application. Wireless communication expertise is not required. The Nokia M2M Gateway installation and administration needs hands-on experience and know-how about IP communication in LAN.
