A self contained product development facility. As part of the Customer Solution Centres the team are responsible for design and development of products with specific customer focus.
The product and programme team are responsible for defining and developing the product propositions that the Customer Solutions Centre will develop for the market. This includes developing the specifications for the products, working with the business planning teams to develop product roadmaps, then following through by lifecycle managing the products under development.
The team also manage the development programme from early concept through to market launch.
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
The position is to support the entire product management team within the facility with detailed customer requirements.
This position is critical to the success of the facility as new products are developed for customers. As customers demand greater compliance to specifications then it is crucial that these are appropriately reviewed and reflected in the product propositions. This will be the responsibility of the successful candidate.
Have a clear understanding of current market requirements within the mobile operator environment.
Able to analyse customer requirements and clearly reflect these in useable internal documents.
Sound understanding of product development cycles to be able to make recommendations to the development team in a timely way
Excellent communication and organisational skills to be able to communicate requirements in a clear concise manner.
Able to make detailed proposals to both technically focussed and marketing focussed individuals.
Should be able to review and understand current market trends and translate these into what the business needs to develop into our products.
A sound background in engineering.
