Getting started using Carbide c++ 1.1 -> how to import the sample code

Hi Nokia
I have downloaded and tested the Carbide c++ 1.1 Prof. ver.
It works and I can do the hello world sample. Now I want to look at other code samples.
But how to import them in Carbide ?
I download a sample code and unpacked it

In Carbide I do File|Import|Existing project into workspace
Then I click next, I'm now prompted to select the root directory. I select the Recorder directory from the sample code I just downloaded.

But it seems that there are some vital info missing. I cannot press the Finish button to import the project.


This is a simple question. I guess that all of you have managed to get past this problem. So I guess some of you can tell me how to solve it.
I also hope that the guy responsible for carbide import function reads this so that he can fix this bug.

Do not use "Existing project into workspace".

Use "Symbian bld.inf" or "Symbian MMP file" to import your Symbian projects.

i've the same problem.
i've both "Existing project into workspace" and "Symbian bld.inf" but "Symbian MMP file" is not available in the list. how can i import examples located in S60 subfolders?

you have import-existing project-browse to that folder and import either mmp or bld.inf (both available in the example group directory
