S60 3rd Edition Emulator CCamera camera class problem

How can I get at least one camera working on S60 3rd Edition Emulator to debug my application?

this is what the RELEASE NOTE FOR S60 3RD EDITION SDK FOR SYMBIAN OS, 06.10.2006 FEATURE PACK 1, FOR C++ says:

Emulator Applications:
----------------------
- Camera application is not supported by the S60 emulator.

But it was supported by previous SDKs. Why they cancel it?

That's not all. The release notes (at least for the maintenance release) state:

The Camera API provided in the S60 platform SDK is not compatible with e.g. Nokia devices. Camera APIs for specific devices will possibly be released later in Forum Nokia.

So, we cannot create applications using this SDK that's supposed to be the SDK for 3rd Edition devices?
