    i'm fist use carbide.c++
    I use SDK2.0 fp2
    I import MMP(C:\Symbian\8.1a\S60_2nd_FP3\Series60Ex\helloworldbasic\group\helloworldbasic.mmp) --------the existing e.g


    when i build project(emulater)

    the program is that "CTags not instralled or not in path"

    in the HelloWorldBasic_S60_2_8_Emulator_Debug.app the content is "file not found 'C:\Symbian\8.1a\S60_2nd_FP3\Epoc32\release\winscw\udeb\z\system\apps\helloworldbasic\helloworldbasic.app'".....who can tell me how i can to ??.. thanks

    I think "CTag not installed..." is only a warning.
    I always get this message too when compiling in Carbide.c++, but I can just ignore it.

    Is there any other error messages that you have? I guess your building process fails because of some other problems.

    yes this is only 'CTags not instralled or not in path'
    but i click HelloWorldBasic_S60_2_8_Emulator_Debug.app , there are "file not found ''C:\Symbian\8.1a\S60_2nd_FP3\Epoc32\release\winscw\udeb\z\system\apps\helloworldbasic\helloworldbasic.app''"



    i also can't run this application

    That message (CTag) should be fine.

    What happened if you run the emulator from Carbide.c++? Does it run? Do you an icon in the emulator?

    when i run emulator
    the run button is unenabled.
    wheather should i config run paramter,and how can i?

    So, it seems the compilation failed at some point.
    Are you sure there are no other error messages?
    Check "Problems" tab at the bottom of Carbide.c++'s window. Errors are shown in red marks (while warnings in yellow marks).
