Example importing problem

I have carbide c++ express 1.0 and sdk s60_3rd edition(9.1).I want to import examples which are store in SDK folder (like c:\symbian\9.1\s60_3rd\examples\appports

How i can complie and build ???

Even i am able to compile from c:\labs\workspace.even i copy this folder over there but still problem is there ..
