Well I'm trying to use the new Gmail java app on my 6230b and it keeps saying I don't have the certificate needed, well a few users on the sony erickson boards have figured it out, and apparently you need the verisign PCA3ss_v4 but I can't for the life of me get me nokia to accept the certificates in any format, i've tried exporting in der with .cer, renaming to crt, all kinda things..can anyone shed some light on this? Funny thing is there are confirmed reports of this working on other 6230's so I'm not sure what I'm missing. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks, J

dmxsoulja3, you cannot add certificates used for midlet signing on Series 40 devices. You need to remove the signing info from the jad file and install the midlet as unsigned one (hmmmm.... of course Google seems to offer the downloads only to phones directly, so would need to do some tricks to get this accomplished...)
