CAknDoubleGraphicStyleListBox not operating on arrow keys.

Hello dear,
I have been trying to display Inbox messages of the phone in my costomised Listbox. I used CAknDoubleGraphicStyleListBox . I am able to display the items with icons, when the Listbox is shown on emulator the first message is highlighted but as I move the arrow keys up and down nothing happens focus remains on first message only. I have put the flags=EAknListBoxSelectionList in the resource file . where I might be wrong ?

Have you implement the function OfferKeyEventL ?
Its Prototype is below :
TKeyResponse OfferKeyEventL(const TKeyEvent& aKeyEvent,TEventCode aType);

And you must check this class inherit from what ? CCoeControl or MEikListBoxObserver

Also, make sure the control was added to the control stack.
