    I can not debug any projects using Carbide C++ developer Version.

    The error message is:

    CORBA initialization succeeded but host IDE did not register main callback. Exiting main thread.
    Carbide.c++ Debugger

    Who know how to resolve the problem?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    Try it when you are connected to the internet, it might get disconnected while trying to execute CORBA (remote) object. Once it executes you should be able to debug without internet connection. The other reason maybe the firewall is not allowing it to execute.

    Once in a great while we've seen that error here. Generally it only happens on the first debug attempt. The debugger engine has a timeout that might be exceeded when starting on a PC that is slow or busy doing other things.

    If you retry debugging does it work for you?

    Regards,

    Matt P.

    Hi, rishiak

    Yeah, it's because the firewall. I close the firewall, and the dubugger works now. Thank you.

    Thanks you all!
