Hi all,
I have an app that removes various files prior to exiting. See this thread....
http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...ad.php?t=85303
But, the filename of one of the files to be removed was mistyped so that it turned into a wildcard - maybe a "*" ?!? I'm not sure exactly. But anyway, my file remover code removed a lot more than was intended - and now the phone is seriously ill. At boot up, I get the following dialog box:
" Phone start-up failed. Contact the retailer."
Is there any recovery that I can do, or must I really go back to the retailer ?
I tried downloading a software upgrade from Nokia, but that does not work.
BTW, this is a Nokia 6680.
thanks.
Rich
