Carbide.C++ programming

Hi All,

I am a beginner in Nokia development and I am now learning Carbide.C++ Pro to write a program that go on S60 3rd Edition platform.

I want to know how can i write the code that when the user select the softkey function then change the label text?

basically your softkeys are mapped into a commands (see your resource file for the command IDs), then when they are clicked the set command is sent to the appui class's HandleCoammand (Options-buttons though will open menu, and not generate commands into yout appui class).

Then you have a 'case CommandId' defined in your handle command to catch it, and inside it you just use the functions defined for the label to set it to have a new text.

You should have a look into the SDK help then, basically try locating documentations from it to teh class you want to use and see which functions provided by the class can be used to achieve the functionality you want to implement.
