Recording live video stream, 6280

Hi,

I'm having trouble recordning a video stream and showing it at the same time. What I do is just getting both a RecordControl and a VideoControl from a player which captures video. When I'm not using a RecordControl I can view the video stream.

I'm using a 6280, is it so that it supports viewing but not recording a live video stream?

Is it so that S40 isn't multithreaded? In this case it would explain my result.

hi,

S40 is multithreaded (appliation can spawn multiple threads), it does not support multiple tasks (mulitple applications running at the same time),
it could be rather device (system) issue (limited device capabilities access) if you're encountering such behavior (sharing device resources) like using audio and video capturing at the same time (while video capture should record audio track in it),
