Created new post for this question.
Nokia VoIP client and a 3rd party VoIP client can exist in the same phone. However a 3rd party VoIP client cannot be integrated at the moment the same way the Nokia VoIP client v2 is integrated to the phonebook i.e. user can make voice, video or internet call (=Nokia VoIP client) directly from the phonebook. A 3rd party VoIP client would be a standalone application with own application settings rather than integrated to Nokia phone & settings UI.
Please note the known issue about the audio routing & delay:

I would suggest that you contact regional Forum Nokia regional VoIP BDMs to discuss more in details your plans and how Forun Nokia can help you:
Americas: niklas.lyback(at)nokia.com
EMEA: sanfrid.lindblom(at)nokia.com
APAC : eng-wah.tay(at)nokia.com
China: li.3.ma(at)nokia.com

The link provided is only partial, hence not working. Can you update it?
Link corrected.
I would suggest to review the the Full-Duplex "loop-back client" example for S60 3.0 devices included in this SDK plugin under Audio Proxy Server directory:

hello,
I want to do the same project like you (design a VoIP client on J2ME), can you help me by sending me your report or your application if you want!!!!!! I'm new in J2ME
please give me your email to be in direct contact with you.
thankkkkkkk youuuu, my email is: taoufik109@hotmail.com
Hi,
Full duplex audio is not possible in J2ME . So, In that case you can't make a J2ME client(dialer/softphone). Instead you can make it for Symbian OS. Which will supports for Nokia smart phones (S60 3rd edition and 5th edition).
Thanks
