    i am new to developer for series 60 sdk,
    i have developed an application, In this application display the dialog by clicking menu item. I want to display more buttons on this dialog as a number of items.
    how to write for that in the resource file.
    anybody please give the solution.

    i am using CAknDialog class.

    Do you want to give more option items in your Option Menu?

    Not like that putting menu items in the options.

    i have test box and mulitiple buttons on the dialog box.

    when i click any button, that related result is dipslaying in the text box of the dialog box.

    Hi,

    Series 60 not supports the buttons in dialog. Buttons only supports in UIQ. Series60 has only softkeys left and right.

    i have written buttons type R_AVKON_SOFTKEYS_OPTIONS_BACK in resource for dialog.

    This dialog shows options and back softkey buttons.

    now, how can i add the menu items to the options softkey buttons.

    Search for "Using Options Menus" in the SDK help.
    Series 60 2nd Edition SDK for Symbian OS, Supporting Feature Pack 2
    Developer Guides >> Application Framework Handbook
    Moreover you can refer to the example project where you need to correlate the files: .hrh, .rss, .loc etc....
    You would get clue from that.

    Hi,

    If u want a menu for a dialog, then create a custom dialog and add menu resource in that custom dialog constructor.
