Emphasis missing completely?

Can it be possible that there is no way, on the 7110, to give emphasis to text? I need to be able to do this, as I am working with good size data chunks. ALL CAPS is not a good suggestion, but I'd be happy to hear from the experts out there.

If you read the FAQ, it tells you the following:
