how to go view mode to edit mode in form applications

hi,
i saw the form example give into a sdk60 examples but this example based on view Architecture . i can develope Dialog-Based Architecture form applications . In this applicaions i use the storeL() and RestoreL() methods also for storeing the data from a form .plz tell me also how to use this methods in to a my applicatios . i made Dialog-Based Architecture form into a view mode only but i can not go to a view mode --> edit mode in my applications .
