You cannot open and modify sis files under Carbide.ui. Though there are some tools to unpack sis, still I do not know a way to modify the packaged theme inside.
Hi!
Question:
How extract the icons from S60v3 theme? Thanks!
SIS files are files that contain packaged application, for themes they contain packaged theme, for S60 3rd Edition, there is no way (at least I do not know about that way) how to extract the theme to be used in Carbide.ui.
yeay, on the old S40 series we could do that but with the new version we have to figure it out... :/
nevertheless, check this out

It might take some time to wrap your head around the theming system but it boils down to defining a stylesheet file for the theme and at least one PHP page template based on the master 'look' of your site. Add PHP code in strategic places to insert the title, posts, widgets, etc. and let WordPress do the heavy lifting. Look at other themes as examples, particularly the ones that claim to be simple and CSS-oriented, they should be easier to decipher.
