How can I determine the application language at run time

Hi,

I developed an application, which support Multilanguage in series 60 3rd edition.

I will try to use CEikAppUi :: ApplicationLanguageL () function to get the current language used by application.

But it always gives me ELangNone (0xFFFF) as a language
code, It detect application is non localize.

On Emulator it work fine. It gives me language code as expected.

After installing everything works fine as expected.

Can anybody please help me ?

Will get the current language of ur application.

Thank you very much for quick reply.

I used what you suggest, but it always gives me ELangEnglish Language code,

even though my application not support english currently.

hi,

on emulator the default language is English and it doesn't swithch to other languages on emulator except for writing ... so plz check the same on device -

If ur application is in another language it will give u the language of the language which is running currently on ur applicaton.

I checked it on the device Nokia N73, N91 etc.

I got the same result.
