what causes device inquiry to fail (INQUIRY_ERROR) ?

hi,
i have a very simple midlet which attempts to do device discovery.
i run it on the Nokia 6320 phone and what happens is 1) deviceDiscovered is never called 2) inquiryCompleted() method is called with INQUIRY_ERROR.
What could be the cause of that? In Emulation the method is called with
INQUIRY_COMPLETED as it should.

Hi,
Nokia 6320 is not included in the list of devices on forum nokia.
Is it a s60 2nd or 3rd edition?
