audio recording application previwe installed, why?

i don't speak english, but i will try

my nokia 6020 has a 'AudioPlayerAndRecorder' pre installed, and i made a application for audio recording, but do'nt work.
i tested with 'supports.audio.capture - for audio recording'
These properties return true if recording is supported.

and the value returned = false

Why?

nokia 6020 supports mmapi

MMAPI implementation on different phones support different capabilities. On 6020 phone there is no support for audio recording.

The pre-installed application being able to record audio is not a Java ME MIDlet.
