多くの Symbianビルドtoolsは、Perlスクリプトなので、Perlをインストールする必要があります。ActiveStateが提供しているActivePerlは、無料でダウンロードできる、即インストール可能なPerlの配布形式です。
訳注： 5.6系は、ActiveState ActivePerl 5.6.1 build 635 is in the Symbian^3 SDK for Nokia Devices at located at ..\epoc32\tools\distrib\ActivePerl-5.6.1.635-MSWin32-x86.msi in the folder in which the SDK is installed.
- http://www.activestate.com/ を開く
- 上部タブ・メニュより、language Distributions-> Active Perl
- 絵の中の"Get ActivePerl"
- "Choose from" のActivePerl の右にある"Download"
- 個人情報を入力-> continue
- "View archive of older releases" をクリック
- http://downloads.activestate.com/ActivePerl/ が開くので、Windows-> 5.6
