The user should be able to answer or disconnect VoIP calls by pressing a button in the Bluetooth headset as in a normal telephony call. When Bluetooth is involved, the call is not routed to Bluetooth and the user must manually move the call.

Description

A Bluetooth headset is not aware of the VoIP call status and is thus not able to answer the call. The Audio Routing API does not give the level of control requested by the third party.

Solution

No solution exists. Currently Symbian C++ does not provide any APIs that can be used to detect the VoIP call.
