Overview

Changing softkeys in the system standby screen

Description

The S60 3rd Edition SDK does not provide a way to change the functionality of the softkeys in the system standby screen of 3rd party applications.

Solution

SDK API Plug-in packages for S60 3rd Edition, Maintenance Release and S60 3rd Edition, FP1 include the ScShortcuts Engine Wrapper API that can be used for this purpose. Note that the ScShortcuts API is removed from S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 2.
