Archived:Class CCameraAdvancedSettings is documented but not implemented (Known Issue)
The class CCamera::CCameraAdvancedSettings can be used for controlling digital camera advanced settings. However, while documented in earlier versions it is not implemented until S60 3rd Edition FP2.
In S60 3rd Edition, Maintenance Release and S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 1 SDK documentation, the class CCameraAdvancedSettings is mentioned for various camera functions, such as auto focus, flash, burst mode, etc.
This class is part of the CCamera API specified by Symbian. While basic functionality from CCamera is supported by all S60 3rd Edition devices, CCameraAdvancedSettings is not yet implemented in S60 and hence the corresponding headers and import library are also missing from the SDKs.
Advanced settings for the digital camera cannot be controlled via CCamera::CCameraAdvancedSettings in S60 3rd Edition and S60 3rd Edition, FP1 devices.
AutoFocus functionality is available via an extension plug-in. This enables 3rd parties to control AutoFocus in devices that support it (for example, Nokia N73, Nokia N93(i), Nokia N95, and Nokia E90 Communicator). For more information, see S60 Platform: Camera Example with AutoFocus Support.
CCameraAdvancedSettings is implemented from S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 2 onwards.
