Description

Symbian's context sensitive help (CSHelp) application provides help that is appropriate for the current application, and for the context (current view) of that application. This works for applications in firmware, but Help is not opened for after-market third party applications.

How to reproduce

  1. Install an application that has an associated context-sensitive help file.
  2. Go to a platform application like camera, calendar etc and launch its help.
  3. Open the application and launch its help.

The help gets launched but the contents doesn't get changed from platform application's help to the application's help.

Solution

No known solution for this at present.
