Overview
Recording WAV with AMR locator is not possible with Nokia 6600, software version 5.27.0.
Description
In the Nokia 6600 with the software version 4.09.1 it is possible to use the capture locator "capture://audio?encoding=amr" to get AMR-encoded audio. The resulting audio is encoded as AMR, but returned in WAV format.
In the Nokia 6600 with the newer software version 5.27.0 the same capture locator still gives AMR-encoded audio, but now the audio is returned in AMR file format.
There was a problem in the older software, which prevented AMR recording. The problem has been fixed in the newer MMAPI, and it is not possible to record WAV with ARM locator any more.
Solution
It is not possible to record WAV with ARM locator in software version 5.27.0.
