Description

The host address for sync accounts is usually not the direct Web site link as it is not sufficient. Thus an extra "/" character is added to the "Addr" field. If the address field is https://m.google.com/syncml, the profile will not try to add the extra "/" to the address field.

How to reproduce

  1. Create a Data Sync account/profile with "Data Bearer" as "Internet".
  2. Set "Addr" = "www.google.com".
  3. Save this account/profile.
  4. View or Edit this account.

Expected outcome: "Addr" should have value "www.google.com".

Actual outcome: The suffix "/" was added by the device to the field "Addr", so that "Addr" has the value "www.google.com/"

Solution

No solution for S60 3rd Edition and FP1. This issue is fixed in S60 3rd Edition, FP2 and S60 5th Edition.
