Archived:Four second delay when playing audio files with Bluetooth headset connected in S60 3rd Edition FP1 devices (Known Issue)

When an audio file is played and a Bluetooth headset is connected to the device, there will be a delay of approximately 4 seconds in all S60 3rd Edition, FP1 devices. This delay is not observed in S60 3rd Edition and S60 3rd Edition, FP2 devices. This 4 second delay is also observed with profile ring tone preview.

How to reproduce
- Connect a Bluetooth headset to a S60 3rd Edition, FP1 device.
- Play an audio file (.amr or .wav file) using CMdaAudioOutputStream or CMdaAudioPlayerUtility classes.
- A delay of 4 seconds occurs.
Solution
No solution exists. This issue is expected to be fixed in future firmware versions.
