Description
This is currently the case for all third-party applications on top of the platform. There may be some third-party applications provided on top of the platform already within the Nokia device sales software.
Some third-party applications are included as standard within the device, such as the Camcorder application in the Nokia 6600. Later versions of the S60 2nd Edition, from Feature Pack 1 onwards, include the Camcorder application as part of the platform delivery. Therefore, the Camcorder application icon can be changed.
Typically operator variants of devices have some additional third-party applications within the Nokia device sales software.
Solution
Nokia is looking into adding this functionality into the Themes tool.
