Note: This API is not part of the public SDK. It can be found in the SDK API Plug-in.

Description

The following function from the Bluetooth Engine API is documented to retrieve the connection status of a wired accessory:

TInt CBTMCMSettings::IsWiredAccConnected( TBool& aAnswer );

However, it does not work properly - the return value is always KErrNone (indicating success), but the value of the aAnswer parameter remains unmodified.

Solution

There is no solution available with the public SDK or APIs from the Plug-in package.
