Description
If your MIDlet on a Series 40 device cannot connect to the network and the Application error - KNIEXT_NewGlobal Ref failed error message is displayed, this is because some previous network connections have not been closed properly.
Solution
The problem can be solved by turning off the phone and removing the battery for a short while (a few tens of seconds).
