In MWS 1.3 it is possible to get the device location via the Presence application, and it is also available via the Archived:Mobile Web Server APIs#Presence REST API.

The location is not asked from GPS, but is network-based so the availability and accuracy will variate a lot. The location currently works in all A-GPS enabled Nokia S60 devices (such as N82, N95, N95 8GB, E90 and 6110 Navigator). The location needs correct A-GPS settings on the device (Position server = supl.nokia.com and a working cellular-based Internet connection).
