Overview

When starting the S60 3rd Edition, FP1 SDK emulator, the "Application closed: ncnlist KERN-EXEC 3" panic message is displayed. Once the notification is dismissed, the emulator can be used as usual; however, MTM developers may not be able to use the New Message Notification API in order to notify the user about new received messages.

Description

Start the emulator with the "Extended panic info file" option enabled in the emulator's preferences.

Solution

To fix the problem, unpack the content of the NCNList fix.zip (File:NCNList fix.zip) into the SDK installation folder. Overwrite existing files when prompted.
