When the access point (AP) account added by the server on a device is manually deleted, it cannot be re-provisioned. The provisioning attempt returns status 418, indicating that the node which is already removed by the user still exists on the device.

This issue exists on all versions of Nokia N95, but the provisioning will succeed if the AP account is removed by a device management (DM) command.
Steps To Reproduce
- Create an AP using DM Server.
- Remove the AP manually
- Re-provision the deleted AP to receive the status 418 error.
Solution
No known solution. Provisioning will succeed only if the AP account is removed by a DM command.
