Description
When creating a PU (partial upgrade)-type update package with an embedded SIS, the installation works fine but the uninstallation of the application always fails. Note that the partial upgrade cannot be uninstalled separately because it does not appear in the Application Manager.
How reproduce
- Create and install an application with an embedded SIS.
- Create and install a PU-type updgrade package with an embedded SIS.
- Try to uninstall the application. Uninstallation fails.
Solution
No solution exists. Avoid creating partial upgrade packages with embedded SIS files.

I encountered this problem. I was able to remove the application by first uninstalling the embedded packages with App. mgr.
