Web apps
Web apps are apps that look "native", but which are written using web technologies like HTML, CSS and JavaScript. There are different web app solutions for Symbian and Series 40, and it is also possible to write apps in HTML5 that will run in a high performance browser.

In addition, there are a number of technologies that are intended to be used with a mobile or desktop browser:
