Overview

Choice vector is missing from Series 40 6th Edition SDK v0.9 release.

Description

Choice vector is missing from Series 40 6th Edition SDK v0.9 MIDP 2.0 and MIDP 2.1 class libraries. The user will be notified with "cannot access javax.microedition.lcdui.ChoiceVector" when compiling the application which tries to use it.

Solution

This will be fixed in Series 40 6th Edition v1.0 SDK. For the affected SDK v0.9:

1. Download the software fix from File:Midp21.zip.
2. Unzip the Midp21.zip file.
3. Replace the unzipped midp21.jar with the existing midp21.jar file in C:\Nokia\Devices\S40_6th_Edition_SDK\lib.
