Article Metadata
Templates are standard wiki pages whose content is can be embedded inside other pages using the syntax {{Template name}}. The generic Media Wiki User Help provides instructions on how to create and use your own Templates.
This topic lists a subset of the templates that have been created by the Nokia Developer Wiki Administration. Contributors are encouraged to use these templates in their articles. The tables below describe the purpose of each template - click the links for more detailed instructions.
Translations: Note also that most of these templates have been translated to other languages. You can access the translation by specifying the language= parameter with the natural language category code (e.g. Lang-Portuguese, Lang-Chinese).
Translations are shown (behind the toggle) in the table below. This whole page is translated into a number of languages - see Help:中文模板.

Note: using the equals (=) and pipe (|) characters inside the template parameters prevents them working properly. These characters should be replaced with the = and | codes respectively.

| Template:InfoBoxRightHandSide | An information box that floats on the right hand side - used for "metadata" style information rather than information that is part of the article itself. If you create any additional "generic information templates", this template should be used as the base. |

| Template:NeedsMoreWork | Use {{NeedsMoreWork}} for articles that need a large amount of work to be fit for use, such that it is impossible to list it all. Template:ArticleNeedsUpdate should be used in preference. Articles that have this template for too long without being fixed should be deleted or turned into "Stubs"
