Description

Installing some of the older tools available on the Nokia Developer website may fail when trying to generate a serial number during installation. For example Nokia Developer's Suite for MMS Version 1.1

When the installer tries to connect to the registration server, the "Registration response error" dialog is displayed.

Solution

Serial numbers can be requested separately from the Nokia Developer website, Tools and Downloads section.

After receiving an e-mail containing a serial number, retry installing the product and enter your Nokia Developer user name and the serial number when prompted by the installer.
