What is the licensing? Are there many limitations of this library in terms of performance? How does the library compare to using Microsofts HTML5 offering? Can we get links to any examples or other docs specific to Windows PHone?

jQuery Mobile is a touch-optimized cross-platform HTML5 Web UI Framework for mobile devices and tablets. It supports mobile platforms including Windows Phone, iOS, Android, Blackberry, Palm WebOS, Bada, MeeGo and Symbian.

Coding is done using a common JavaScript Model and ViewModel, while the HTML file generation is specific to respective platform. A unique theme is used to define a native look and feel for each platform - the theme for Windows Phone is jquery-metro-theme.

jQuery Mobile provides a number of UI widgets, a few of which are mentioned below:

• Form Elements
• Collapsibles
• Accordions
• Popup
• Dialogs
• Responsive Tables
