The article was written in 2007 and has not had a significant update since (except I've removed links to now defunct Symbian.com). The resources need to be updated as they are very old, and probably this whole document should be merged into an "About Symbian C++" topic.
Symbian OS is one of the most rising Mobile Operating System. The popularity of Symbian has been increased these days. More and more developers are coming to the this platform. Now we've enough resources available on net. This article is basically to discuss the various forums and newsgroups available for a developer of Symbian OS as a general.

Developer Discussion Forums
Developer forums are one of the popular medium for interacting developers across the world. Here are some of the major forums for Symbian developers.
Nokia Developer - Developer Discussion Boards
This is one of the most popular discussion board. This forum is basically for discussing Nokia related technical stuffs. You've to become a member to access the full features of this forum. There are different sections available more over there is on Chinese section too. There are sections to interview Nokia Developer and developers feedbacks.
NewLC Forum
This forum is also a general discussion for Symbian OS as whole. The sections like Symbian C++, JAVA, Communication etc are available there. One particular section is available for french discussion called The french corner.
All About Symbian Development Forum
This is again one of the general discussion group for Symbian. The sections like OPL Questions, Miscellaneous, Symbian C++, Symbian Java, Symbian MobileVB are the main attractions.
Sony Ericsson Developer World
This forum is especially for UIQ developers. There is a section called Symbian OS, where you can discuss different matter s related with UIQ2, UIQ3 and OpenGL ES. The forum had a Bug Reporting section under the Java ME section.
