Use this template to add a temporary comment within document text. It should be used for seeking clarification, for example by a copyeditor who cannot resolve an ambiguity or a reader who can see that there is something wrong but does not know the answer. You should also consider contacting the author.

If you're going to be using the comment a lot, consider creating your own internal version like this one: Template:HamishW

Usage

{{CommentInArticle|name=~~~|text="your text"}}

• name : Name/timestamp for comment. The text ~~~~ automatically generates a name and timestamp for the current user. You can use ~~~ to just include your name
• text : Text to be displayed in comment
