Description

On Nokia N8 PR1, if there is at least one widget in the Home Screen and the Home Screen is set to Offline mode, widgets launched from the application menu are unable to connect to the network. XMLHttpRequest fails immediately with status 0.

Solution

This issue will be fixed in PR1.1.

Until the issue is fixed, make sure that Home Screen widgets are set to be in online state by selecting Widgets to online mode from the Home Screen Options menu. On the widget side, you may send a note to the user, suggesting that she/he checks this option if XMLHttpRequests fails with status code 0.
