| Nokia signing Symbian apps for free | August 21st, 2010 |
By removing the “public beta” for Symbian Signing, Nokia is demonstrating to Ovi Publishers its commitment to review the initial investment costs associated with getting a publisher ID and getting their apps signed. Ovi Publishers can have their Qt Symbian (with Nokia Smart Installer for Symbian), Symbian C++, Flash Lite apps, and Symbian Themes signed for free by Nokia after providing the necessary information and following some new steps during their application submission to publish to Ovi.

Nokia Developer's User Experience program has been expanded to include thousands of test users around the world available through Mob4Hire. The user feedback available from Mob4Hire consists of instantaneous responses from everyday mobile application users, and it is available to developers at a reasonable price.
| Remote Device Access services | August 21st, 2010 |
Nokia Developer offers two services for Remote Device Access (RDA) providing developers with working Nokia devices over the Internet. There is the free Remote Device Access; and there is also a paid service called the Nokia Developer Virtual Developer Lab, powered by DeviceAnywhere. Using RDA, developers can easily test and demo their apps prior to final release. In addition, DeviceAnywhere hosts weekly "tutorials" on the Nokia Daily App blog that demonstrate key features & functionality of leading apps in Nokia Store.

Selecting the article of the week, Contributor of the Month and judging Wiki contests are just some of the administrator tasks that Croozeus has taken out with zeal and comitment.

All articles submitted for the contest were subjectively judged on how well they were presented, what the content was originality and presentation. Champions were held to a higher standard than the general members were. For the random entry each article was given a number based on alphabetical order of the title and then a number was generated using random.org number generator. | Qt Mobility Contest Winners! | April 7th, 2010 |
There were over 100 entries for the Archived:Qt Mobility Contest - January 2010, from around 50 developers. The participants have certainly stepped up to meet the challenge, and the results have been great.

Axel’s applications were well-developed to promote usefulness of Mobility, and providing high-quality and reusable code; QtKeyboard, Abusing Publish and Subscribe, Contactcube, HttpRemote, QtOrientationTest.
Second prize: Hendy Irawan
Hendy’s applications were dealing with compelling use case ideas and he had provided the best documentation and good quality, well-structured code; for example, the UI and engine were nicely separated; http://gitorious.org/messagemerge, http://gitorious.org/geotweet, http://gitorious.org/sysinfodump.

| Write a Qt Wiki Article to Win a Nokia N97 Mini or N900 Multimedia Device | March 3rd, 2010 |
Just contribute a Qt article to the Nokia Developer Wiki between March 1st and March 31st 2010 to win Nokia’s new premier multimedia device shown above. The rules are simple, contribute quality or topical Qt articles, How to’s or code examples for Qt. All contributors will have a chance at winning a device as one winner will be chosen at random.
All articles submitted during the time period will be subjectively judged on how well they are presented, what the content is and the number of quality entries. The number of devices awarded will be reflected by the number or quality articles submitted. The more people that participate; the more phones we will give away.
In addition to the possibility of winning, all contributors will be considered for nomination into the Nokia Developer Champions program. So if you want honor and glory and a new touch device contribute to the Wiki this month.
Nokia Developer employees and contractors are not eligible for this contest. Champions will have separate prizes and judging.
