Description

The Bluetooth profile defines a possible set of Bluetooth operations - for example, the Basic Imaging Profile (BIP) defines how an imaging device can send an image to a remote device, or how an imaging device can print an image. There are about 22 Bluetooth profiles, many of which are overlapping and closely related.

A Bluetooth-enabled device can be connected to a remote device by using any of the connectable profiles. There is no way to determine which profile is in use.

Solution

No solution. Currently Symbian C++ does not provide any APIs which can be used to find out which profile is being used while the device is connected.
