When a SIS file is downloaded to a Nokia 6600 mobile device with OMA Download (*.dd), the file is saved but the installation process is not started automatically. Instead, the user needs to install the application from the location where it was saved.

Description

When a SIS file is downloaded using OMA Download, the user can select whether the file is saved to the device memory or to the MultiMediaCard (MMC). After the file has been downloaded, the user needs to find the downloaded file and install it. If the application is saved to the MMC, it cannot be seen in the Application manager but the user needs to use File manager and locate the file at e:/nokia/Installs. This does not offer very good user experience.

How to reproduce

Download a SIS file with OMA Download and save it to the MMC.
