Overview
When content (for example, wallpaper or ring tone) is delivered to the device using OMA DRM 1.0 combined delivery and the usage right constraint <interval> allowing the use of content only for a certain period (for example, "Use for one month") has been defined, the content cannot be used for its purpose at all (as a wallpaper or ring tone).
Description
When content (for example, wallpaper or ring tone) is delivered to the device using OMA DRM 1.0 combined delivery and the usage right constraint <interval> that allows the use of content only for a certain period (for example, "Use for one month") has been defined, the content cannot be used for its purpose (as a wallpaper or ring tone). The content can be saved to the device and it can be viewed or listened in the Gallery application for a month but it cannot be set as a wallpaper or ring tone.
Solution
Content usage should not be restricted to a certain period of time. See the document Implementation Best Practices For OMA DRM release 1 for details.
