Description
When running an application in the Series 40 3rd Edition SDK (initial release) emulator, the user cannot enter a comma or a point as the decimal character into TextFields defined as TextField.DECIMAL.
This fault exists only with the Series 40 3rd Edition SDK (initial release) Emulator: When running the application on a phone there are no problems when entering decimal characters. In addition, the fault does not exist with later Series 40 3rd Edition SDKs, starting from Feature Pack 1.
Solution
Instead of Series 40 3rd Edition, use later Series 40 3rd Edition SDKs (starting from Series 40 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 1).
