The Qt Mobility APIs provide cross-platform access to functionality that has historically been more important for mobile devices than in the desktop computing domain. The current version of Qt Mobility (v1.1) delivers APIs for to control bearer management, contacts, document gallery, tactile and audio feedback, location and positioning information, messaging, multimedia, calendar and scheduling, and sensors (among others), and includes plugins to allow access to this functionality using Qt Quick.
